brings us to assume what in fact, is not.
First glance, first touch, impressions are made,
carried over time 'til the truth is mislaid.
We’re not always at fault, to think it all true,
misconceptions are misconceptions to correct me and you.

Oh, these little notions, what great things they hide!

“The D’Espresso coffee shop, located one block from the New York Public Library, was designed to look like a library that’s been flipped on its side.”
AWESOME.
Hahaha! Oh, the movie was just BIZARRE.
Sunday Movie Recommendation: The Ides of March
I saw this last night with my dad, admittedly because of the cast. Frankly, I don’t like most political dramas, but this one was actually great. I didn’t really know much about it before watching, all the trailer really told me was, “Hot powerful politicos strut around in suits and fuck around with each other to get ahead”. So I was pleasantly surprised to find a movie that’s basically just the story of an ambitious guy turning to stone before our eyes.
Okay, maybe I’m biased, but I thought Evan Rachel Wood stole the movie from under everybody. Is this just the crazy “I’VE BEEN OBSESSED WITH YOU SINCE CHILDHOOD” fan thing getting in the way? I thought she was the standout. I do wish she has a bit more to work with (with a less capable actress, the part wouldn’t have been nearly as commanding), but I guess the story is about Ryan Gosling and she was just a catalyst for the ~intrigue~. Still, I found myself caring more about her character than most of the others, I wish she got more screentime.
The only other complaint I had about this movie was, oddly enough, the music. It’s rare that I’m watching a movie and I think, “Wow, there should be score here, why is it so quiet?” Did anyone else get that? I actually found the lack of music distracting, it felt a little unfinished.
That last shot though, man, that was good. Really good.

Just get me this. Someone. Anyone
Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful, that’s what matters to me.
